Beegin ("we", "us") is an app that helps you practice spoken English. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

01Information We Collect

• Account information: when you sign up with email or Sign in with Apple, we receive your email address (or the relay address Apple provides if you choose to hide it) to create and identify your account.
• Voice content: during lessons, audio captured by your microphone is processed for speech recognition, pronunciation feedback, and real-time conversation with the AI companion (Beeni). This is the core function of Beegin.
• Learning data: your progress, lesson completion, and practice records, used to show your progress, generate reports, and resume learning.
• Device identifiers: identifiers used to distinguish accounts and keep the service running.

02How We Use It

We use the information only to provide and improve the lessons and AI conversation features, generate your reports and progress data, and secure your account. We do not use your information for advertising or tracking, we do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.

03Sharing

We share data only with service providers (such as speech recognition, AI models, and cloud services) strictly as needed to provide the service, and only under confidentiality obligations. We do not otherwise share it, except as required by law.

04Storage & Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Voice data is processed to deliver real-time tutoring and feedback.

05Your Rights & Choices

• View / delete recordings: in Settings → Privacy → My Recordings.
• Delete your account and all data: in Settings → Privacy → Delete Account (irreversible).
• Microphone: manage anytime in iOS Settings → Beegin; disabling it turns off speaking practice.

06Children

Beegin is intended for adult learners and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

07Updates

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new effective date on this page.
